Restoring PostgreSQL DB's from crashed HD
Posted: Tue Jul 08, 2008 4:59 pmMy HD completely crashed last week. Dell shipped me a new one, but I was totally unable to get into the old one. I finally bought an external cabinet which I could put the HD in and plug it into the computer using the a USB cable.
I finally got into it, but how on earth do I get all those DB (and where do I locate then) over into my new PostgreSQL stuff, with the DB's I'm already running at the new HD? Also, is there other stuff than just the DB's that I need to copy to the new HD?
