Restoring PostgreSQL DB's from crashed HD

My HD completely crashed last week. Dell shipped me a new one, but I was totally unable to get into the old one. I finally bought an external cabinet which I could put the HD in and plug it into the computer using the a USB cable.

I finally got into it, but how on earth do I get all those DB (and where do I locate then) over into my new PostgreSQL stuff, with the DB's I'm already running at the new HD? Also, is there other stuff than just the DB's that I need to copy to the new HD?

If all you have is the data files and not an actual backup of the database that you did before the crash then you'll have to try the steps here to recover and restore the data...
