Yes....

If you do, open PT, go to the File > Maintain Database Names window. Click the Add button. Enter a description and in the last field select "Choose existing PostgreSQL database" from the list. Does this open a window of databases to select from? If so, select the FULLTILTPOKER database, on check the "Dflt" box then click OK to save all changes. THEN CLOSE AND REOPEN PT.

Theres no databases available. It gives this same error; http://koti.mbnet.fi/vauri/pt3.JPG

Using REGEDIT, go to the

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBC.INI

section and find "PTPGSQL Test Port 5432" under that. Right-click on it and select "Delete" from the list. Then try it again.

Search your entire hard drive for the existence of a file called pg_hba.conf

Do you have more than one of these files in different folders?

Edit pg_hba.conf C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\PostgreSQL 8.2\Configuration files
pg_hba.conf C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.2\data <--------
pg_hba.conf.sample C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.2\share

Only one...

Open the Utilities > PostgreSQL Settings window.

What is the user name you have there? Is it "postgres"? If not, it needs to be. So you need to change it to "postgres" and save it. Restart PT and try again.

If it still doesn't work, email me the pg_hba.conf file to support at pokertracker dot com
