Excessive flickering after cards are dealt on Stars

New install of windows, after the older version of pahud did not seem to detect any tables , upgraded to the beta , and been experiencing this issue ever since. The flickering stops after all stats flicker 4-5 times but it starts again after the next hand is dealt.

Using winxp , Postgresql , latest ver of pt and pahud. Memory scanner or using hh's doesnt seem to make a diff.

Have you tried the "Flicker Free Drawing" option on Options > Preferences > PokerStars?

Yes , with flicker free drawing enabled or not , doesnt make a difference.

Is this a new computer, or an old one? What are the specs like?

Swapped my hd into a used motherboard a friend sent me and reinstalled windows. Dual core 4400 Athlon , 4 gb ram , asus nvidia 6600 video card.

Not brand new by any means but a decent upgrade from my older pc.

I was plagued by hud issues on my older pc which I know were mostly performance related.

I don't want to waste your time , unless there's a really easy fix im not going to really trbleshoot this and will look at other options. Was going to go w/ PT3 to ease the transition but it seems you can't even eliminate the black background box in its' hud. A simple option available in Pokerace hud for a long time.
