Can I use Hutchison points ?

[PokerMagpie]

I am currently using the trial Build 3.00.5.1, and I have been using this to track my initial forays into poker. I like what I see so far.

I am still reading through your custom stat tutorial, and would like to know the best way to assign Hutchison points to each hand. I am trying to see where I am spending my time/money and I use the point system in lieu of the hand charts to guide my pre-flop decisions, so I'd like to calculate this, then save it into the DB and compare hands. Is this possible with the custom stat facility ?

To create a custom stat for this you will need to do it in the Holdem Cash Hands section - you won't be able to create a stat which works in the HUD for this (HUD stats are based on all previous hands, not the current hand).

Have a look at this post about card values and the Custom Statistics and Reports FAQ.

Have a go at building the stat and if you get stuck please post back and let us know where you've got to.

Okay - that should be a nice start. The non-realtime aspect does not bother me, as I often review my hand history before and after each session anyway. Will definitely keep you posted !
